Whereas Sun Protection Factor (SPF) is used for sunscreens, fabrics use UPF ratings. Each Coolibar's SUNTECT® fabric is developed with UVR sun protection as Coolibar's top priority.

Coolibar Anti UV Fabrics Range
ZnO SUNTECT®
This cotton & bamboo fabric ZnO SUNTECT® embeds millions of tiny particles of zinc oxide into every fiber. This is the same ingredient that is used to block UVA & UVB in better sunscreens and to treat mild skin irritations and burns. These ZnO particles cannot wash or wear out and will provide healthful benefits for the life of the garment.
dri SUNTECT®
Ultra soft polyester microfibers offer superb comfort by wicking moisture and perspiration away from your skin, drying quickly and keeping you cool and completely protected with permanent UVA and UVB titanium dioxide blockers. Easy-care features include machine washability plus wrinkle-free convenience.
aireSUNTECT®
Feather-light, with a luxurious feel, this polyester spandex blend is so soft, airy and cool, no one will guess that it provides maximum protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Fast drying and naturally wrinkle resistant, it’s easy care and comfortable enough for everyday wear.

Much lighter weight than typical swimwear, this knit fabric is extremely water friendly. This next generation of dri SUNTECT® lifts the lightweight polyester fabric off skin by utilizing a tiny surface grid pattern. This improves both breathability and moisture-wicking effectiveness, keeping the body cooler and more comfortable than ever before
lite SUNTECT®
Incredibly lightweight, highly breathable and remarkably durable, this fine weave fabric blocks UVA and UVB rays with titanium dioxide (TiO2) permanently inside of the microfibers. The soft cotton like touch of the fabric shields your skin from the sun helping to keep you cool and comfortable. The 100% nylon fibers dry three times as fast as cotton and are easy to care for.
