We also place a hang tag with the percentage UV blocked and the UPF rating on every garment we manufacture.

Our UV testing of fabrics significantly exceeds all published American standards.

• UV transmittance tests are performed according to the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists Test Method 183 (AATCC 183);
• Fabrics are tested both before and after life cycle exposure to laundering, sunlight, and chlorinated water according to American Society for Testing and Materials D 6544 (ASTM D 6544);
• Garments are then labeled according to the guidelines specified in American Society of Testing and Materials D 6603 (ASTM D 6603).
