ZnO SUNTECT®
Embeds millions of tiny particles of zinc oxide into every fiber. This is the same ingredient that is used to block UVA & UVB in better sunscreens and to treat mild skin irritations and burns. These ZnO particles cannot wash or wear out and will provide healthful benefits for the life of the garment.
lite SUNTECT®
Incredibly lightweight, highly breathable and remarkably durable, this fine weave fabric blocks UVA and UVB rays with titanium dioxide (TiO2) permanently inside of the microfibers. The soft cotton like touch.
dri SUNTECT®
Ultra soft polyester microfibers offer superb comfort by wicking moisture and perspiration away from your skin, drying quickly and keeping you cool and completely protected with permanent UVA and UVB titanium dioxide blockers.
knit SUNTECT®
Unique nylon fibers that feel like the finest cotton are knitted with a touch of spandex for comfort, stretch and shape retention. These moisture wicking fibers dry three times faster than cotton.
aqua SUNTECT®
Much lighter weight than typical swimwear, this knit fabric is extremely water friendly.
Coolibar’s proprietary SUNTECT® fabrics use aunique multi-staging testing process – each fabric is washed a minimum of 40 times and exposed to 100 hours of UVA&UVB rays. Each sun protection clothing is tested and rated for its sun protection factor. Each product is coded for quality control and traceability.
